ISU DALAM DUNIA PENDIDIKAN TENTANG INOVASI KURIKULUM DAN PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN PROFESIONAL GURU

Abstract

In today's global competition, a nation must be an innovative country to become a superior nation. Therefore, strong values and policies are needed so that the cultural crisis and national disintegration in Indonesia cannot be recovered. Indonesian education must instill national character and spirit originating from the nation's cultural roots and clearly based on Pancasila as the basis of the state, philosophy and noble values of the nation. Through learning, citizenship education must be a solution to build citizens with good social awareness in their communities. Education is one of the most important things in a person's life. Everyone has the right to a decent and just education. However, in Indonesia there is an educational inequality of all Indonesian citizens. In addition, recently there has been discussion about the current education system in Indonesia which is considered to be rigid and inef ective. We can see this from the decline in education in Indonesia compared to other countries. The education system used in Indonesia is not much dif erent from the education systems of other countries. The only dif erence is the error in practice on the ground. There are many fundamental defects that create tension between the aims of the education system and the realization of its realm. Which ultimately leads to the fact that all goals cannot be achieved and completed correctly. The purpose of this research is to find out the problems of the Indonesian education system as well as the fundamental mistakes and solutions of all existing problems.
