Abstract

The use of lecture-based learning models with limited creativity makes students less participative and focused during lessons, which affects their understanding. The purpose of this research is to improve students' learning comprehension in Pancasila education through the implementation of the STAD cooperative learning model. This study involved 21 elementary school students. The method used for data collection is qualitative descriptive through classroom action. The results of this study show that when lessons were delivered through lectures, the average student score was 60.71%, and after using the STAD model, the average score increased to 85.71%. This distribution shows an improvement of 41.2%. It can be concluded that the implementation of the STAD cooperative learning model can improve learning outcomes in Pancasila education.
