Abstract

This paper examines the implementation of PAI curriculum on teacher performance which includes the implementation of PAI curriculum, PAI curriculum, and teacher performance. This study aims to determine the implementation of PAI curriculum on teacher performance in an educational institution at the Madrasah Aliyah level. The Islamic education curriculum is a design or concept of a study program related to Islamic material or learning, learning process objectives, methods and approaches, and forms of evaluation. Thus the Islamic religious education curriculum is a means to achieve the learning objectives of Islamic religious education that is directed in creating real individuals in the concept of Islam. In implementing the PAI curriculum, good and professional teacher performance is needed so that the contribution of the curriculum to teacher performance is very important, namely a good understanding of the curriculum, use as a guide in lesson planning, and encouragement for creativity and innovation are the main factors that support the improvement of teacher performance in the classroom. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the type of field research filed research. Data collection techniques and instruments used were observation, interviews, and documentation. While data analysis used descriptive analysis developed by Milles and Hubberman, resulting in research findings on the implementation of PAI curriculum on teacher performance.
