Abstract

This study aims to determine student learning outcomes in the affective and psychomotor aspects by using practicum on the material of the process of volcanic eruption. This research was conducted on odd semester students of class V SDN Gili Timur II. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, which is a method that describes, describes, and describes what the object of the object under study is based on the situation and conditions when the research was conducted. The result of this study is that by using practicum in the IPAS subject matter of the process of volcanic eruption, student learning outcomes increase compared to using test assessments that are less relevant to the characteristics of students or the validity of the question itself. By applying practicum activities in the material of the process of volcanic eruption, it can be seen that 100% of students have met the criteria for achieving the completeness of students' affective values, this can be seen from the aspects of faith, fear of God and noble character, mutual cooperation, critical reasoning. And it can also be seen that 100%% of students have met the criteria for achieving the completeness of students' psychomotor scores. This can be seen from the aspects of preparing tools and materials, using practicum tools and materials, carrying out work steps systematically, working deftly, neatly, and effectively, observing the practicum carefully, analyzing the results of observations correctly.
