Abstract

This research examines the implementation of progressivism as a transformative framework in contemporary educational systems. Employing a qualitative approach with systematic literature review design, this study analyzes various literature sources from 2020-2024 to identify patterns, challenges, and opportunities in progressive education implementation. The results show significant improvements in student engagement (72%) and critical thinking development (68%) in institutions adopting progressive approaches. The developed implementation framework offers a comprehensive model for educational transformation encompassing technological, pedagogical, and cultural aspects. Key challenges include resistance to change, infrastructure limitations, and the need for continuous professional development. This research contributes to the body of knowledge in progressive education and provides practical recommendations for implementation across various educational contexts.
