ANALISIS PENGORGANISASIAN DAN PROBLEMATIKA MANAJEMEN SARANA PRASARANA DI SDN KELEYAN 2 KABUPATEN BANGKALAN

Abstract

This research analyzes the organization and management problems of facilities and infrastructure at elementary school of Keleyan 2, Bangkalan Regency, to understand their role in supporting the learning process. The research used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, through interviews and observations of school principals and existing facilities. The research results show that the management of facilities and infrastructure includes planning, procurement, maintenance, storage and supervision, which is carried out in a structured manner even though it is constrained by budget limitations. Some of the problems faced include a lack of facilities such as projectors, damaged student chairs, and IT-based learning tools, which hinder the optimization of the teaching and learning process. In terms of infrastructure, there is a shortage of classrooms, so the library is used as a classroom and several classes are combined, which has an impact on the comfort and quality of learning. Apart from that, the number of toilets is inadequate compared to the number of students which reaches 391 people. These problems show the importance of improving the quality of management of facilities and infrastructure as well as budget support to create an effective and efficient learning environment. Thus, it is hoped that this research can contribute to identifying strategic steps to improve the quality of education through improving the management of facilities and infrastructure in elementary schools.
