Religious character is a person's traits, behavior, morals or personality that arise from the process of internalizing religious principles as the basis for behavior. Religious in this context does not only include aspects of worship and religious beliefs, but also involves aspects of morals, ethics and spirituality which also shape behavior and personality. Curriculum development for Islamic religious education needs to include a program plan that serves as a learning guide so that the vision and mission objectives of the educational unit can be realized. With creativity, innovation in curriculum development program plans that reflect religious behavior, it is hoped that students can have better personal self-control in an effort to realize school education goals.
