Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Fiqh learning at MA Alkharaat Labuha, particularly on the topic of Hajj in grade 10. The Merdeka Curriculum, introduced by the Indonesian government in 2022, offers flexibility in learning, allowing schools to tailor teaching to local needs. This study employs the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model to analyze the extent to which Fiqh learning based on the Merdeka Curriculum has been successfully implemented. The evaluation involves analyzing the local context, teacher readiness and resources, learning processes, and student outcomes. The results indicate that, despite challenges in accessing learning resources and integrating local values, Fiqh learning at MA Alkharaat Labuha has successfully developed students' competencies in understanding and applying Islamic laws, particularly in the Hajj chapter. The study also finds that the use of active and contextual learning methods is highly effective in enhancing student engagement and understanding. These findings are expected to provide practical and theoretical contributions to the development of Fiqh learning based on the Merdeka Curriculum in madrasahs, and to serve as a model for other madrasahs in integrating the national curriculum with the characteristics of Islamic education.
