This study aims to analyze the role of academic supervision by school principals in improving the quality of learning at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Swasta (MIS) Fathul Munir in Kota Ternate. A qualitative approach with a case study method was used to explore supervision practices, challenges, and their impact on the learning process. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that the principal is actively involved in class observations and provides constructive feedback to teachers, positively affecting teaching competency and student motivation. However, challenges such as limited facilities and budget constraints impact the effectiveness of supervision. The study highlights the importance of developing collaborative and creative supervision strategies to address these limitations. The implications of this research are expected to guide school principals and educators in enhancing the quality of learning in private madrasahs, particularly in island regions with similar challenges.
