Abstract This study aims to examine the implementation of academic supervision in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Swasta (MIS) Fathul Munir Kota Ternate e in an effort to improve the quality of learning. This study uses a school action research approach The conclusion of this research is that the implementation of the principal's supervision can improve the implementation of the main duties of teachers. This is evidenced in the second cycle All teachers have carried out lesson planning, learning implementation and learning evaluation well. Thus, the implementation of Academic supervision by the principal is very beneficial for teachers and the motivation of teacher work has a positive effect on teacher performance.
