Active student participation in learning plays a crucial role in achieving optimal learning outcomes. This study aims to enhance the active participation of 12th-grade students in Fiqh lessons at MA Alkhairaat Labuha through the implementation of the Cooperative Learning model. The study employs a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, consisting of two cycles, each comprising planning, action, observation, and reflection phases. The research subjects were 30 12th-grade students from MA Alkhairaat Labuha. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was performed descriptively, both qualitatively and quantitatively. The results indicate that the implementation of the Cooperative Learning model successfully increased students' active participation in Fiqh lessons. Active student participation increased by 80% in the second cycle compared to the first cycle, which only reached 60%. This improvement was observed through a greater number of students engaging in group discussions, asking questions, and answering questions during the learning process. These findings demonstrate that the Cooperative Learning model is effective in enhancing student engagement in Fiqh lessons. This research contributes to teachers' efforts in increasing student participation, particularly in Fiqh subjects, and can serve as a reference for applying more varied and interactive teaching models.
