This study aims to find out the process of implementing the independent curriculum in increasing student learning activities as well as efforts to implement the independent curriculum at SDI Molelema. This research is a qualitative research using data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects in this study are grade IV students of SDI Molelema which totals 22 students consisting of 10 male students and 12 female students. The data and data sources used are primary data and secondary data. The results of this study show that the implementation of the independent learning curriculum at SDI Molelema has brought changes in the learning approach at the school. However, in implementing the independent curriculum, there are obstacles, namely the difficulty of teachers and students in accepting the curriculum changes that occur which results in a reduction in student learning activities, so that it is the biggest challenge for teachers in increasing their.
