Abstract

The purpose of this research is to understand the problems faced by teachers in implementing the Independent Curriculum and the solutions that have been implemented at SDIT Ulin Nuha Wuryantoro. This research uses descriptive qualitative approach. The research subjects consisted of class I, II, IV and V teachers. Data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis was done through data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data was tested through technical triangulation. The results of the research concluded that teachers faced several problems in implementing the independent curriculum, such as difficulties in analyzing learning outcomes, formulating learning objectives, compiling assessment test tools (ATP), and compiling teaching modules. They also have difficulties in determining learning methods and strategies, making optimal use of technology, using effective learning methods and media, dealing with the breadth of teaching material, determining class I, II, IV and V projects, allocating time for project-based learning, and determining the form of assessment in project-based learning. The solution is to hold regular meetings with the teachers' working group (KKG) and special training sessions led by the school principal. They also use alphabet books, make their own materials, continue projects at home, take notes, and participate in curriculum implementation training.
