PEMANFAATAN MEDIA SOSIAL DALAM PEMBELAJARAN AL-QUR'AN HADITS DI MTSN 1 KEPULAUAN SULA

This study aims to explore the utilization of social media in the teaching of the Qur'an and Hadith at MTsN 1 Kepulauan Sula. This case study employs a qualitative approach using interviews, observations, and documentation to gather data from teachers, students, and school administrators. The findings indicate that social media platforms such as YouTube, WhatsApp, and Facebook are used to enhance the learning experience, improve interaction, and facilitate communication between teachers and students. YouTube provides instructional videos that aid in material comprehension, WhatsApp is utilized for discussion and feedback, while Facebook serves as a platform for sharing important information. However, challenges such as inappropriate content, distractions from social media, and access limitations were also identified. The study concludes that while social media has significant potential to support learning, it requires strict guidelines and supervision to maximize benefits and address challenges.
