PENGARUH KEGIATAN EKSTRAKURIKULER TERHADAP PENERAPAN NILAI-NILAI AQIDAH AKHLAK DI KALANGAN SISWA MTSN 1 KEPULAUAN SULA

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of student involvement in extracurricular activities on the application of aqidah akhlak values at MTsN 1 Kepulauan Sula. Using a quantitative research method, data were collected from 120 students through a questionnaire measuring the level of involvement in various extracurricular activities and the application of aqidah akhlak values. The types of extracurricular activities studied include religious clubs, scouting, arts, and sports. Data analysis was conducted using linear regression tests to identify the relationship between involvement in extracurricular activities and the application of aqidah akhlak values. The results indicate that involvement in religious-based extracurricular activities has a significant impact on enhancing the application of aqidah akhlak values, such as honesty, responsibility, and empathy. Students actively participating in religious clubs tend to exhibit behaviors more aligned with the moral and ethical principles taught in aqidah akhlak. Although non-religious activities like scouting and sports also contribute to character development, their impact is less compared to religious-based activities. This study recommends that schools expand and improve the quality of extracurricular activities, especially those based on religious values, to support the application of aqidah akhlak values among students.The findings are expected to provide insights for educators and school administrators in designing more effective extracurricular programs to shape students' moral character.
