Abstract

This research aims to enhance student interest and motivation in Fiqh learning through the application of technology at MTsN 1 Kepulauan Sula. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with two cycles, involving 30 eighth-grade students. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The results show a significant increase in student interest and motivation, with the average interest score increasing from 6.2 to 8.3 and motivation from 5.8 to 8.1 (on a 10-point scale). Understanding of Fiqh material also improved, with the class average score rising from 65.3 to 81.5. The application of technologies such as the "Interactive Fiqh" mobile app, 3D animation videos, and Augmented Reality (AR) simulations proved effective in creating more interactive and contextual learning. The main challenge faced was the limitation of technological infrastructure, which was addressed through the optimization of offline applications and a collaborative learning approach. This research concludes that the integration of technology in Fiqh learning, with adaptations to the local context, can effectively increase interest, motivation, and understanding of students in archipelagic regions.
