FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER SISWA DI MIN 4 KOTA TIDORE: PERSPEKTIF GURU DAN SISWA

Character education at MIN 4 Kota Tidore, North Maluku, is the primary focus of this study, given its role in shaping an intelligent and characterful generation. This research aims to explore the factors influencing character formation among students at the school. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study design, the study involves in-depth interviews, Focus Group Discussions (FGD), participatory observations, and document analysis. The research subjects include teachers, students, the school principal, and parents. The findings indicate that a curriculum integrated with character values, teacher role modeling, a conducive school environment, and parental involvement play significant roles in character development. Extracurricular activities and the influence of digital media also play important roles, while local wisdom values contribute to strengthening students' character. This study provides insights into the dynamics of character formation at MIN 4 Kota Tidore and suggests adaptive strategies to address contemporary challenges in character education.
