Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of ICT-based learning to improve the quality of science education at MTsN 1 Kepulauan Sula. A qualitative research method was employed, using interviews, observations, and document analysis to gather in-depth data on the implementation of ICT and its impact on the learning process. The results indicate that the use of information and communication technology in science education has had a significant positive impact, such as increased student motivation, better understanding of concepts, and ease in explaining complex material through visual media and interactive simulations. However, the study also identified several challenges, including limited internet access and the need for more intensive teacher training. Although ICT has enriched students' learning experiences, these barriers affect its effectiveness. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of improving infrastructure, providing technical support, and developing teachers' capacities to maximize the benefits of ICT-based learning. This research contributes to the development of more effective technology-based learning strategies in the Madrasah education environment.
