Abstract

This study aims to compare the effectiveness of conventional and digital learning methods in enhancing English language proficiency among students at MAN 1 Ternate. Employing a quantitative approach with comparative descriptive method, the research involved a sample of eleventh-grade students selected through stratified random sampling. The findings indicate that digital learning methods are more effective than conventional methods, showing significant improvements in reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. Additionally, the use of interactive and engaging media in digital learning successfully boosts student motivation and engagement. The study concludes by emphasizing the crucial role of teachers in effectively integrating technology and providing clear guidance, as well as the necessity for continuous collaboration to maximize the potential of digital learning in enhancing English language education quality in Indonesia.
