This study aims to enhance critical thinking skills among 11th-grade students at MAN 1 Ternate in economics through the implementation of the Discovery Learning model. This Classroom Action Research was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection phases. The research subjects were 30 students from Class XI Social Sciences. Data were collected through observation, critical thinking skills tests, and student response questionnaires. The results show a significant improvement in students' critical thinking skills. The average score increased from 58.3 at the initial condition to 81.3 at the end of cycle II, demonstrating a 39.5% improvement. The percentage of students achieving a good category in critical thinking skills increased from 23.3% to 83.3%. Consistent implementation of Discovery Learning stages contributed to the development of students' analysis, evaluation, and conclusion-drawing abilities. Positive changes were also observed in students' learning behavior, marked by increased active participation and more substantive quality of discussions. This study concludes that the Discovery Learning model is effective in enhancing students' critical thinking skills in economics, providing a relevant context for students to link abstract economic concepts with real-world phenomena.
