ANALISIS PENGARUH RENDAHNYA MINAT DAN PEMAHAMAN PESERTA DIDIK KELAS II SMP MEDAN TERHADAP PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA

This study aims to enhance the interest and understanding of junior high school students in learning indonesian through a more interactive and relevant approach. The method used is the Narrative Inquiry approach with direct observation in class 2 of SMPN Medan. The results show that the use of engaging learning media and active interaction can significantly improve students' interest and understanding of indonesian. Although there are some obstacles such as lack of focus and time constraints, better classroom management strategies and additional motivation can overcome them. In conclusion, an instructional approach involving media, active interaction, and direct student involvement can enhance the quality ofi indonesian language learning in junior high school. Suggestions for further research include thorough preparation and attention to training to improve classroom management skills for lower-level elementary school classes.
