Abstract

The purpose of this writing is to reveal the differences between the implementation of the Curriculum 2013 and the curriculum of independent learning in MAN 1 City of Ternate This research method is qualitative descriptive.In this study, the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum not only gives teachers freedom in choosing learning methods and materials, but also inspires the development of new approaches to measuring student progress. Research highlights the importance of including emotional and social intelligence in learning, such as empathy and collaboration, alongside academic knowledge. This investigation uses a qualitative method of discryption, the location of the research MAN 1 City of Ternate.These findings show that character education and emotional intelligence play a key role in producing intelligent and empathic generations. This holistic approach creates a strong foundation for future educational transformation, equipping students with the skills needed to cope with the complexity of global challenges.
