MENINGKATKAN KOMPETENSI PEDAGOGIK GURU OLEH KEPALA MADRASAH MELALUI PENELITIAN TINDAKAN SEKOLAH DI MTSN 1 KEPULAUAN SULA

Abstract

MTsN 1 Kepulauan Sula is one of the Madrasas located in Fatcet village, Sanana City, Islands, North Maluku Province. The strategic position in improving the quality of education is held by professional teachers, because the implementation of quality learning is the spearhead. Therefore, teacher professionalism needs to be continuously improved, especially pedagogical competence in terms of teaching students in the schools they lead. As a manager and supervisor, the madrasa head has the main task of empowering school resources, including teachers, along with their ongoing development. Through PTS, madrasa heads can carry out their substantive main tasks as managers and supervisors in a more planned, methodological, systematic and accountable manner. The performance of professional teachers in teaching can also be improved by madrasa heads through PTS.
