The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects of implementing the Educational Management Information System (EMIS) in higher education institutions. The study focuses on human resources management, curriculum planning, and student data management. The education paradigm is evolving, and the adoption of information technology is crucial for enhancing education. Optimizing human resources management, improving curriculum effectiveness, and managing student data are some of the issues identified. The research consists of two parts: reviewing literature and analyzing how EMIS is used in higher education institutions. The research findings indicate that the implementation of EMIS significantly enhances the operational efficiency of higher education institutions. The automated management of student data expedites the registration process and prevents errors. Integrated teaching and curriculum planning enable continuous evaluation and improvement of the curriculum. With EMIS, human resources management becomes more effective. The result is that the implementation of EMIS has a positive impact on the management of higher education institutions. Nevertheless, data security remains crucial. This study provides a comprehensive perspective on the benefits and challenges associated with the implementation of EMIS. It lays the foundation for best practices and policies in higher education institutions.
