IMPLEMENTASI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DI SDIT AL MANAR SAMBENG
Abstract
Character education is not only about imparting knowledge, but also instilling values and norms of society to children, starting from elementary school age. Character education is the process of developing character values in learners and aims to imply positive norms so that learners understand the difference between good and bad behavior and are able to carry out actions that are in accordance with positive values. Schools have an important role in character education, the curriculum and activities in schools are designed to help learners develop positive values and good manners. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the implementation of character education in elementary schools, especially at SDIT Al Manar Sambeng. This research method uses descriptive qualitative method and data collection from various sources, such as books, notes, and relevant journals. The results of this study are character education at SDIT Al Manar Sambeng shows a strong commitment to the formation of students who have noble morals, understanding of Islam, life skills, critical thinking skills, creativity, independence, and global identity based on the nation's cultural values. The school integrates the character of graduates into various aspects of learning, creating an environment that supports students' overall growth.
