The purpose of this study was to find out what factors caused the equality of Salafiyah Islamic boarding schools Mansyaul Ulum Mempawah Regency to use the yellow book learning method with the sorogan pattern. This research method uses qualitative research methods because the author wants to present empirical facts. The reseults showed that the equibalence education of Salafiyah Islamic boarding schools Mansyaul Ulum Mempawah Regency used the sorogan yellow book learning method because the teachers (ustadz/ustadzah) had never received education and training or workshops using other patterns and the knowledge gained when the ustadz/ustadzah studied the book. At the previous boarding school. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct education and training or workshops for teachers (ustadz/ustadzah) in addition to the yellow book learning method with shove pattern.
