PERAN KEPEMIMPINAN KEPALA MADRASAH ALIYAH SWASTA (MAS) AL MA’ARIF JIKOTAMO KABUPATEN HALMAHERA SELATAN DALAM MENINGKATKAN KUALITAS PENDIDIKAN

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of leadership of MAS Al Ma'arif Jikotamo in improving the quality of education. A phenomenological case study is used as the research method. Interviews were chosen as the tool to collect data regarding the role of the madrasah head. The results of this study highlight the role of the head of Madrasah Aliya as an administrator, decision-making mechanisms, and the improvement of the quality of Islamic education. The leadership skills of the madrasah are closely related to the enhancement of the quality of Islamic education.
