UPAYA PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STAD UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN MATERI MEMBACA TEKS DAN MENYAMPAIKAN INFORMASI DALAM MUATAN BAHASA INDONESIA TEMA 7 PADA SISWA KELAS III SD NEGERI KARANG ANYAR 1

The research was conducted to find problems in elementary schools, the problem that researchers found was students' low comprehension skills in reading text material and conveying information in Indonesian Language Theme 7. Resulting in low student learning outcomes due to lack of understanding of the material presented by the teacher. The research objective is the Efforts to Implement STAD Type Cooperative Learning to Increase Understanding of Reading Text Material and Conveying Information in Indonesian Language Content Theme 7 in Class III Students of SD Negeri Karang Anyar 1. The type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) using a quantitative approach. The research was conducted from February to March 2023 at Karang Anyar 1 Public Elementary School, Jalan Karang Anyar, Karang Anyar, Kwanyar, Bangkalan. The research subjects were all Grade III students with 9 male students and 15 female students at SD Negeri Karang Anyar 1, semester II of the 2022/2023 academic year. The techniques used to collect data are interviews, observation sheets, essay comprehension test sheets. The data analysis technique is a quantitative data analysis technique by analyzing the data obtained by the researcher from the results of the test questions at the end of the learning process. The results showed that there was an increase in the percentage of learning outcomes in cycle I by 50%, increasing in cycle II to 82%. This increase can be concluded that the implementation of STAD Type Cooperative Learning has succeeded in increasing understanding of reading text material and conveying information in Indonesian Language Theme 7 content. The researcher's suggestion is to plan an action cycle as best as possible, for teachers to pay more attention to needs during the process of learning activities, and for schools to facilitate teacher needs. This is in order to support the success of the CAR Research conducted.
