UPAYA MENINGKATKAN MINAT BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPS KELAS V SDN SOCAH 02 DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN TGT (TEAMS GAMES TOURNAMENT)

This study aims to determine the use of the TGT (Teams Games Tournament) learning model for fifth grade students in social studies subjects at SDN Socah 02, and also to increase the learning interest of fifth grade students at SDN Socah 02. The research design used in this study is the the research design put forward by Kemmis and Mc Taggart which is a development model of Kurt Lewin's model. Which consists of 4 components namely: Planning, Action, Observation, Reflection. This research took place at SDN Socah 02, which is located on Jl. Raya Socah, Bangkalan Regency. The subjects in this study were fifth grade students at SDN Socah 02 with a total of 15 students, consisting of 8 female students and 7 male students. The data obtained in this study used observation and interview instruments. The technique used in this research is descriptive analysis technique. Based on the results of research with the application of the TGT model, it can increase student learning interest which can be seen from student learning outcomes and the proportion of student learning activities starting from cycle I to cycle II, namely: only reached 3/15, which means that students completed only 3 and did not complete as many as 12 with an average learning score of 63.7%. Whereas in cycle II it can be said that it has reached the desired indicator with its completeness scale, namely 14/1, which means that students complete 14 and do not complete 1 with an average value of 87.2%. In addition, the proportion of student learning activities in the first cycle was 50.2% and 86.8% in the second cycle, which means it has increased.
