PENGGUNAAN VIDEO ANIMASI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN ENGLISH VOCABULARY PADA SISWA KELAS III SDK MBOMBA

This study aims to investigate the use of animated videos to improve English vocabulary among third-grade students at SDK Mbomba. This classroom action research was conducted in two cycles. The results showed an improvement in students' understanding in each cycle. In the first cycle, 14 out of 23 students achieved the minimum mastery criteria, with a percentage of 60.87%, while 9 students (39.13%) had not yet achieved mastery. In the second cycle, the number of students who achieved mastery increased to 20 students (86.96%), while only 3 students (13.04%) had not. These results indicate that the learning outcomes met the success indicator of ≥70%. Thus, the use of video-based learning media in English lessons can enhance students’ understanding of vocabulary and daily activities at school in Grade III of SDK Mbomba.
