Abstract

This article discusses the problems and strategic issues in Islamic education in the era of globalization. Using a qualitative-descriptive approach, this paper examines the challenges that arise from globalization, including the modernization of values, the dominance of Western culture, and changes in learning paradigms. The results of the study indicate that Islamic education reform is needed in the aspects of curriculum, learning methods, and strengthening morals. It is recommended that there be a reorientation of education that emphasizes the integration of knowledge, moral development, and the use of technology. Islamic education needs to develop global competitiveness while maintaining Islamic identity.
