PENERAPAN STRATEGI INFORMATION SEARCH DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPS SEBAGAI UPAYA MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS BELAJAR SISWA KELAS X SMA ADHYAKSA ENDE

This study aims to determine the increase in student learning activities by implementing the Information Search strategy in social studies learning. This study is a type of Classroom Action Research conducted in class X of SMA Adhyaksa Ende. Data collection was carried out using observation sheets, documentation, and questionnaires and interviews. Student learning activities and data on planning and implementation of learning were analyzed using qualitative descriptive techniques. The results of the analysis showed that student learning activities had increased. This can be seen from the observation data for each cycle which experienced an increase. In cycle I, student learning activities were 60.71%, increasing to 78.57% in cycle II, meaning there was an increase of 17.86%. This increase in activity cannot be separated from the planning and implementation of learning carried out by teachers which is getting better, and has increased in each cycle. This increase in student learning activities has an impact on improving learning outcomes.
