Abstract

Students often find it difficult and lack interest in Mathematics lessons, so it is necessary to test students' learning interest by utilizing number dice media on basic multiplication material. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of validity and reliability of a learning interest questionnaire. This research was conducted with a quantitative approach because the expected results in this study show the calculation process of instrument item validation. The questionnaire of learning interest in Mathematics can be given to students if it has been tested for validity and reliability. In this study, it was done using Aiken's formula. The reliability test was carried out using the Cronbach's Alpha coefficient formula. The subjects involved in testing the validity of the instrument items were 5 experts in the field of Education. From the results of the validity test, 15 questions were found valid so that they could be used. Then get the results of the reliability test is 0.827 which means that the questionnaire is reliable. From the results of the validity and reliability tests, it can be concluded that the questionnaire in this study can be used for further research.
