Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Dasuka learning media (syllable dice) in increasing reading interest in class III students at SD N 1 Pringsurat. The research uses a quantitative approach with a survey design, where data is collected through a questionnaire that measures students' reading interest when using Dasuka media. Data analysis was carried out using SPSS software, including validity, reliability, normality, heteroscedasticity and simple regression tests. The research results show that Dasuka media has the potential to increase students' reading interest, with a determinant coefficient (R Square) of 32.9%. However, the effect of Dasuka media on reducing reading difficulties was not statistically significant. This shows that although these media can increase student engagement, their effectiveness needs to be enhanced with a more comprehensive and innovative approach to learning. These findings provide important insights for the development of teaching methods and the selection of appropriate learning media to improve the quality of education in elementary schools.
