Abstract

Cooperative learning is a necessity when the learning paradigm has changed from teacher-centered to more student-centered. Cooperative learning is one of the learning methods that encourage students to actively exchange ideas with each other in understanding a learning material. In cooperative learning, students learn and work in groups. Cooperative learning emphasizes cooperation, helping each other and discussing together in completing the given tasks. This research uses the literature review method to generate theories and conclusions from relevant scientific articles and journals. Other sources used for this research include previous research results, such as books, journals, and other internet sources. In this article the researcher will discuss 3 cooperative learning models, a) make a match type learning model; b) STAD type learning model; c) picture a picture learning model.  Cooperative learning is one of the learning models that allows students to be more active and the teacher acts as a facilitator. This learning model leads more to group learning.
