Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of curriculum enhancement and the implementation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teaching modules on the academic performance of students at Darusalam Islamic Boarding School Mojogedang in the 2024/2025 academic year. Islamic Religious Education in Islamic boarding schools plays a strategic role in shaping Muslim generations with strong faith, knowledge, and noble character. This research employs a quantitative approach, with the population comprising all eighth-grade students at the boarding school. The study focuses on the influence of curriculum enhancement, the implementation of teaching modules, and the simultaneous contribution of both on students' academic performance, including cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. Research instruments include questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings are expected to provide theoretical contributions to the development of Islamic education and practical benefits for boarding school administrators in improving learning effectiveness through curriculum and teaching material innovation
