Abstract

The digital era has brought significant changes in various aspects of life, including education. The use of technology in learning has become a necessity, but it also requires attention to the formation of students' character. Philosophy of education, as the foundation for educational management, plays a crucial role in guiding the educational process in the digital era to focus not only on cognitive aspects but also on character development. In this context, educational philosophy, which is oriented toward humanistic values, ethics, and morality, can serve as a guide for educators in wisely utilizing technology. Advanced technology enables the rapid dissemination of information, but it also presents challenges in maintaining the quality of students' character, such as gadget dependence, the spread of false information, and negative behavior in the digital world. Therefore, it is important for educators to integrate educational philosophy values in the use of technology to create learning that not only develops students' academic competence but also shapes strong character and noble ethics. This abstract will discuss the implications of the philosophy of education on character development in the digital era, as well as how technology can be optimized to support balanced development of both intellectual and ethical character.
