PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE GROUP INVESTIGATION (GI) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN SIKAP ILMIAH SISWA KELAS IV SDN 066056

Abstract

The purposes of this study were (1) to determine the application of the Group Investigation (GI) cooperative learning model in class IV SDN 066056 Medan and (2) to find out how to cultivate a scientific attitude by using the Group Investigation (GI) cooperative learning model in class IV SDN 066056 Medan. This research approach is a qualitative approach because this study aims to find out how to grow a scientific attitude by using the Group Investigation learning model in class IV SDN 066056 Medan. The type of research used in this research is classroom action research. This research will be conducted at SDN 066056 Medan. Subjects in the study amounted to 29 people consisting of 14 male students and 15 female students, in this study were all third grade students of SDN 066056 Medan. In qualitative research methods, data is collected by several data collection techniques, namely: Tests, Observations and Documentation. Data Analysis Techniques the percentage of students' achievement of classical learning outcomes for third grade science subjects at SDN 066056 Medan. Based on the research results, the application of the Group Investigation (GI) learning model in class IV SDN 066056 Medan can improve learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II, namely: cycle I student learning outcomes have not reached the indicator. The average score is 65 with a classical completeness ratio of 18/40. A total of 18 students completed and 22 students did not complete and the second cycle of student learning outcomes reached the specified indicators. The average student score is 80 with a classical completeness ratio of 30/40. A total of 30 students completed and 10 students did not complete.

Abstrak

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigation (GI) di kelas IV SDN 066056 Medan dan (2) untuk mengetahui cara menumbuhkan sikap ilmiah dengan mengggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigation (GI) di kelas IV SDN 066056 Medan. Pendekatan penelitian  ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif karena penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui cara menumbuhkan sikap ilmiah dengan mengggunakan model pembelajaran Group Investigation di kelas IV SDN 066056 Medan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research). Penelitian ini akan dilakukan di SDN 066056 Medan. Subjek dalam penelitian berjumlah sebanyak 29 orang yang terdiri dari 14 siswa laki-laki dan 15 siswa perempuan, dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SDN 066056 Medan. Dalam metode penelitian kualitatif data dikumpulkan dengan beberapa teknik pengumpulan data, yaitu: Tes, Observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik Analisis Data persentase pencapaian hasil belajar klasikal siswa terhadap mata pelajaran IPA kelas IV SDN 066056 Medan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian Penerapan model pembelajaran Group Investigation (GI) di kelas IV SDN 066056 Medan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dari siklus I ke siklus II, yaitu: siklus I hasil belajar siswa belum mencapai indikator. Rata-rata nilai sebesar 65 dengan rasio ketuntasan klasikal 18/40. Sebanyak 18 siswa tuntas dan 22 siswa tidak tuntas dan siklus II hasil belajar siswa mencapai indikator yang ditentukan. Rata-rata nilai siswa 80 dengan rasio ketuntasan klasikal 30/40. Sebanyak 30 siswa tuntas dan 10 siswa tidak tuntas.
