PENGARUH DAN WUJUD PEMBAHARUAN PENDIDIKAN ISLAM DI PESANTREN

This paper examines the renewal of Islamic education in islamic boarding school which includes the influence and form of renewal, educational renewal, and pesantren and analyzes the renewal of Islamic education in islamic boarding school. The reaction to the increasingly complex social dynamics, culture, and scientific developments is the renewal of Islamic education in pesantren. Islamic boarding school, as a traditional Islamic educational institution in Indonesia, plays an important role in building the morals and character of the younger generation. However, pesantren must maintain Islamic values as the basis of its teachings while adjusting to the challenges of globalization, technological advances, and modern skill demands. Some of the changes in pesantren education include the implementation of a curriculum that combines religious science with general science, the application of more interactive and contextualized teaching methods, and improved institutional management. In addition, secondary schools have started using digital learning aids. This allows teachers to acquire broader knowledge and is relevant to the needs of the times. This research uses qualitative research with the type of Library Research. With documentation data collection techniques, namely extracting heirloom materials that are cohesive with the intended object of discussion. While the data analysis used uses descriptive analysis so as to produce findings that the role of psychology in Islamic education is able to provide a person's mental, emotional and spiritual development
