This study aims to analyze the role of teachers in implementing the Kurikulum Merdeka at MIS Fathul Munir Kota Ternate. The Kurikulum Merdeka emphasizes the freedom for teachers and students in the learning process, focusing on character development, critical thinking, and collaboration. Using a qualitative approach and case study, this research reveals that teachers play a crucial role as facilitators, designers of project-based learning, and character educators. However, challenges such as limited resources and a lack of continuous professional training affect the optimal implementation of the curriculum. Nevertheless, teachers at MIS Fathul Munir demonstrate innovation in overcoming these obstacles through collaboration and the use of simple technologies. The findings support expert opinions that highlight the importance of collaboration, ongoing training, and teacher creativity in education. Therefore, further support is needed to ensure the successful implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka in the madrasah.
