PERAN SUPERVISI KEPALA MADRASAH DALAM MENCIPTAKAN MADRASAH RAMAH ANAK DI MIS FATHUL MUNIR KOTA TERNATE

This study aims to analyze the role of school principal supervision in implementing the Child-Friendly School (CFS) concept at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Swasta (MIS) Fathul Munir, Ternate City. Utilizing a qualitative approach with a case study design, this research explores the supervisory strategies employed by the principal to address local challenges, such as limited resources and cultural values. The findings indicate that the principal plays a crucial role in implementing CFS principles through clinical, collaborative, and administrative supervision. The supervision not only enhances teachers' awareness and commitment to CFS but also integrates local values into the learning process. Despite challenges such as inadequate facilities and varying levels of teacher understanding, the principal successfully creates an inclusive, safe, and supportive school environment for students' holistic development. Adaptation to local wisdom and community involvement are key factors in the successful implementation of CFS at MIS Fathul Munir. This study provides insights into the importance of adaptive leadership that is sensitive to local contexts in improving child-friendly education quality, and it suggests the development of supervisory strategies that align with local characteristics and available resources.
