ANALISIS KESULITAN SISWA DALAM MEMPELAJARI BAB THAHARAH PADA MATA PELAJARAN FIQIH DI KELAS 10 MA ALKHARAAT LABUHA

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze in-depth the difficulties experienced by 10th-grade students of MA Alkharaat Labuha in learning the chapter of thaharah (purification) in the subject of fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence). The research method used a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation studies.The results showed that students experienced several difficulties, including: (1) difficulties in understanding the basic concepts of thaharah, such as the definition, types, and differences between minor and major ritual impurity (hadats); (2) difficulties in understanding the procedures for performing ablution (wudhu) and major ritual bath (mandi junub); and (3) difficulties in distinguishing the things that can invalidate ablution and major ritual bath. The factors causing students' learning difficulties include the use of ineffective teaching methods, the lack of use of attractive learning media, and the low learning motivation of students. The findings of this study are expected to provide input for fiqh teachers in designing more effective and engaging learning strategies, so as to improve students' understanding of the material on thaharah. Furthermore, the findings of this research can also contribute to the development of knowledge in the field of Islamic education, particularly in the learning of fiqh.
