DAMPAK PERCERAIAN ORANGTUA TERHADAP MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA DI SMA NEGERI 3 PAYAKUMBUAH

Abstract

This research is motivated by the impact of the divorce of the two parents is their children. Their children will lose figures or role models, thus their mental condition will be disturbed, shaken and disappointed. This has an impact on children's motivation in learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the path of parental divorce on students' learning motivation at SMAN 3 Payakumbuh. This type of research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The subjects of this study were students in grades XII and XI who were victims of the divorce of their parents and counseling teachers in grades XII and XI. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews and observations. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data validity technique is by validating research data using triangulation where the researcher conducts interviews with several of the subjects. The results of the research based on interviews and observations show that parents' divorce (divorce) has an impact on 1) children's learning motivation becomes low 2) learning concentration is disturbed 3) children become less disciplined and tend to skip classes.
