PENGARUH LITERASI EKONOMI TERHADAP SIKAP SISWA DALAM MENGHADAPI MASALAH KEUANGAN

This study aims to analyze the influence of economic literacy on students' attitudes in facing financial problems at MAN 1 Ternate. Using a quantitative approach with a survey method, this study involved 40 students as a sample selected through stratified random sampling technique. Data was collected through economic literacy tests, financial attitude questionnaires, and semi-structured interviews. The results showed that the level of students' economic literacy was in the medium category with an average score of 65.7 out of a scale of 100. Regression analysis revealed a significant positive relationship between the level of economic literacy and students' attitudes in facing financial problems (r = 0.68, p < 0.05). Factors influencing students' economic literacy include the quality of classroom learning, access to economic information, and practical experience in managing finances. Although there is a positive correlation, this study also identifies challenges in applying economic knowledge in everyday life. These findings highlight the importance of adjusting teaching methods, more relevant curricula, and technology integration in economic education. This study recommends a more holistic approach to improving students' economic literacy, including collaboration between schools, families, and communities.
