The concepts of influence, power, empowerment and politics play a major role in social and power dynamics. Influence refers to the ability of an individual or group to change the thoughts, behavior, and decisions of others without the use of physical force. Power involves control over resources, access to information, and the ability to influence decisions. Empowerment is the process by which individuals or groups gain control over their own lives and decisions. Politics includes the establishment and use of power to achieve goals through formal and informal channels. The interaction between these four concepts creates a complex landscape of social and political relations.
