MENUNTUT ILMU DALAM TINJAUAN QUR’AN DAN HADIST

Abstract

Seeking knowledge is a very fundamental aspect of human life. Without knowledge, human civilization would not be possible. With knowledge, humans can also recognize Allah SWT who created all nature and creatures on this earth. The law of seeking knowledge is mandatory for Muslims. For people who study, their status will be elevated and they will be able to achieve blessings and success both in this world and the afterlife. Seeking knowledge in the Al-Qur'an and hadith discusses the importance of studying in improving one's quality of life. There are many rewards and advantages obtained by people who study to achieve a higher level before Allah SWT. Manners in seeking knowledge also need to be paid attention to so that the knowledge gained can provide blessings in life.  This research method uses thematic analysis and is a literature review carried out by collecting data and examining the object under study. This article concludes that the concept of learning provides a clear picture of the importance of studying and how education can help improve a person's quality of life. Seeking knowledge from the perspective of the Qur'an and Hadith is considered an obligation and a way to achieve blessings and happiness in this world and the hereafter.
