Abstract

The phenomenon of free thinking without going beyond ethical boundaries and norms often occurs in social interactions in society, causing people to have a liberal perspective and pay less attention to religious values or secularism. The importance of the presence of Islamic philosophy is very much needed in order to provide boundaries of thought, ethics and norms in every aspect of human life which is always guided by the values of Islamic religious teachings which are based on the Qur'an and the Hadith of Rosululloh SAW. The essence of Islamic philosophy is thought that originates from Islamic teachings or originates from the teachings of the Islamic religion. Islamic philosophy is a teaching that fosters Muslims in forming character, personality, morals and behavior so that it is based on the teachings of the Islamic religion and a person's entire personality so that they embody the Islamic religion. The goal is so that humanity can live in harmony, peace, and safety in the afterlife.
