Abstract

This writing aims to determine approaches to forming individuals who believe, have noble character, and are able to live their daily lives in accordance with Islamic teachings. With this approach, Islamic education is expected to be able to create a generation that is spiritually strong and able to bring benefits to themselves, their families, society and the people at large. The Islamic education approach is also often associated with improving the overall quality of education, both in terms of academic achievement and personality development. Apart from that, this approach can also help give birth to a generation that is more responsible, tolerant and has a high sense of empathy towards others.
