ANALISIS PEMBUATAN BUSANA TIDUR PADA MATA PELAJARAN BUSANA INDUSTRI UNTUK SISWA KELAS XI SMK PANGERAN ANTASARI MEDAN

Abstract

Sleepwear is clothing worn when sleeping. Based on age, sleepwear is grouped into 2, namely children's sleepwear and teenage or adult sleepwear. Making sleepwear requires a person's accuracy and quality in taking the wearer's measurements, marking patterns and designing clothing materials to create beautiful and comfortable clothing that is worn appropriately. with aspects of clothing. However, students often face the results of making sleepwear, namely that the sewing technique used must be in accordance with the appropriate design and materials, because if the technique is not correct, the resulting clothing will not be of good quality. This research is a descriptive study to determine the results of making nightwear in the industrial clothing subject for class XI students at SMK Pangeran Antasari Medan. The population in this study were all class XI students at Prince Antasari Vocational School, Medan, totaling 29 students. The research instrument used was an observation sheet on the results of making sleepwear which was observed by 2 observers consisting of 5 indicators and 22 assessment aspects. Data scores are determined using a score range of 4-1. The results of this research are that students must increase their motivation in sewing practice to improve their performance in order to maximize work results and get grades. Teachers must be optimal and professional in teaching with appropriate methods, so that the material is conveyed well in the teaching and learning process. the teacher can be understood by students. Schools should improve school facilities and infrastructure, so that they can support student learning and practice at school.
