This study discusses the importance of education in the development of a nation and the role of professional educators in achieving national education goals. The main focus of this paper is on supervising school principals as an effort to improve teacher performance and the quality of learning. Supervision of school principals is carried out through supervision, monitoring, and evaluation of teachers in schools. The research was conducted at MTS.S Darul Ulum Sasa Kota Ternate using a descriptive qualitative research method. Data were collected through interviews, documentation, and observation, and were analyzed using Miles and Huberman's techniques. The results of the study show that the supervision of school principals plays an important role in developing teacher abilities, guiding teachers, and facilitating teachers in improving the learning process. Principal supervision is directed at improving teacher performance and learning outcomes. With effective supervision, it is expected to improve the quality of education in schools.
